Hi guys,

I've put an alarm in my house and the kit didnt come with a 2.1 ah battery. I'd like to power up and commission it and was wondering whether it will work without the battery until I fit it when it gets delivered

If the alarm is wired to the mains then the battery is usually just a back-up.

It will work without the battery, but it will register a fault alarm in all likelihood so you would not be able to commission to NSI standards.
