Domestic rewire advice??

Hi fellow sparks. Just started a rewire at mo 3 bed house. Not my usual business tbh. Far and few. Just after any advice into people's routines and methods for efficiency. I'm sure the lads that do this day in day out know some tricks of the trade!! I can't see the light at the end if the tunnel and it's only day 1!!!!

Excellent advice Lee, I still see people nailing boards down, just silly. I was glad of screwed boards when a customers cat went missing one day.

I like a rewire but only if there is no one living there, it has no carpets or furtniture, it doesn't have tounge and groove flooring and the whole gaff is getting replastered

Forgot to add, thats with a half decent apprentice on the rewire bit.

Picturing that has me laughing but I've been there too, half an hour of moving cr@p before you can get to do anything, and that's in every room.

Last rewire I done the landlord hadn't got rid of all the furniture like he was supposed to and the carpets were being replaced.......left the apprentice to break the furniture up and lob it out the window on to the front garden then Stanley the carpets up which also got lobbed out the window whilst I went down the cafe with the other sparks

when the customer says mind the carpet ,and it thread bear and you see the poor old
mice packing their stuff. now that what I call a rewire .

Or the house is a complete s**t hole and you end up leaving the house cleaner than when you started the rewire.

be fore start a job I always ask can I use you loo.
if that's not clean then the tea they put in cup not clean neither .
