Domestic solar PV performance data

Hi all.

I posted a while ago about my dissertation research into domestic solar PV. Worcester kindly PM'd me but his message box is full so I can't reply!

As part of my research I require some 'real life' performance data of domestic solar PV installations.

Can any one point me in the direction of where I could get a hold of this?

I also forgot to ask. Where do I go to find out the MCS approved method for estimating system performance? I can't find it anywhere!

MCS approved method is SAP2005 Appendix M - see http://projects.bre.co.uk/sap2005/pdf/SAP2005.pdf

There are several websites holding databases of user entered data for PV generation - try BDPV - home - Guide for Photovoltaics

How come the revised SAP 2009 guide is not used? Or has it not changed since 2005?

The irradiance figures have been increased in SAP2009 by a very small amount - but MCS have not updated their standard to require anything other than SAP2005 yet. But there was some discussion about this point in another thread here somewhere.

Ted M - OK. It appears they have also increased the 0.75 figure to 0.8

Does this figure account purely for panel efficiency or for a number of other factors also (such as temp)?
