Doorbell transformer symbols help

So according to eufy I need a transformer with a 30va minimum rating. The BG transformer I used is only 8VA. The charge symbol comes on then dissapears, basically it’s charging half the time causing the doorbell battery to slowly drain.

They recommended this transformer off Amazon. 1 is £20ish and the other is £47.
The symbol below the square inside a square are different. I’ve tried to look up what the difference is and cannot find anything. The only thing is from the titles… one is continuous operation and other is discontinued service… what does that mean???

They are both 30VA but only the continuous rated one can operate with a constant load of 1.25A. Apply a constant load of 1.25A to the other one it will overheat as it is designed for short instances of use such as a doorbell.
Most 230/110v site transformers are not continuous at their peak rating for example, a 5KVA one probably has a continuous rating of 3KVA with the 5KVA being intermittent.

When you say short instances of use such as a doorbell do you mean the old traditional ones and not the new type video doorbells?

From looking at the symbol, the continuous symbol appears to be on other bell transformers such as fusebox BG etc. but then looking at the discontinued service one it doesn’t have the bell symbol that looks like a pendant with a lampshade…

Annoyingly I can’t see which one of the two they recommended me because they sent it on the live chat thing and I ended up exiting to chat to them and it’s a nightmare to get through to them again

The symbol that looks like a lampshade means it has short circuit protection.
