Yodel are streets ahead in the worst carrier stakes a few years ago it took me nearly 4 hours one Saturday morning to extract my parcel from their local delivery hub that they had attempted to deliver to a business address at 7pm on Friday, there was nearly a riot when the staff suggested that they were going to close the collection counter at 12:30 with about 30 - 40 people queued up waiting to collect parcels. Their previous incarnation HDNL or home delivery network were just as bad. For me DPD is one of the better ones but as people keep pushing for cheaper and cheaper deliveries what can you expect you only get what you pay for
the thing is, if it was loaded onto the van and i didn't pay to upgrade to a specific day delivery i wouldn't have minded

Most are down to local driver. My Herpes left parcels in my bin, my neighbour leaves my bins out. My delivery went into the bin lorry

LOL. I've had that problem before with deliveries being left in the bin (can't remember which courier). Thankfully it wasn't on bin day!

Just done one of those collect+ services for first time.. 3 shops all within half mile and one on my street, thought I have to go into city or something like.

It all depends on the driver in Gloucester

DPD- Fast and Reliable rarely late the bloke is really good at faking my signature and giving it to my neighbour(lad).
Yodel- They must be on price by the way i have seem them drive and your parcels usually pay for this!
Royal Mail- Okay not the fastest but defiantly the safest way to transport goods.
UPS- Slow and they look like ****s in their yank uniform and van.
