5.5 Kg thats heavy! I used to have Ryobi ERH-750V 240V 3kg SDS Plus Hammer Drill - Screwfix.com, Where the Trade Buys before it was nicked! pretty good actually comes with handy bits
ERH-750V 240V, 13mm keyless chuck and adapter, 3 x SDS drill bits, 1 x flat chisel, 360 auxiliary handle, depth stop and carry case.
and at 3Kg you can use it for a while before arms drop off.

Site SMA830/2 2kg SDS Plus Drill 240V - Screwfix.com, Where the Trade Buys is very good value IMO depends what you need it for really

Is it to be used purely for chiseling/breaking or will you be wanting to drill holes too.

Do you want to buy one, use it then bin it, or would you rather have on ethat will last.

Hi thanks for the reply, drilling and chiselling and I would hope it would last several years, I thought Draper were quite a good make? Would I be better off with something else? Don't really want to spend more than 150 and want it for chasing back boxes and cables and for drilling through concrete.... I am dreaming...!!? I know the Bosch multidrills look the ticket but big money so I thought ÂŁ80, 12 month Guarantee, could be okay??

The draper one you liked to is mor elike a demolition hammer great for really heavy duty stuff but a big heavy lukp to carry and use I would suggest a smaller unit like the ryobi or site for day to day bith a decent chisel bit and a box cutter should be fine (mine was)

Hi guys and thanks for your patience, I really like the weight and power of the Devalt, I like the feedback from customers and the accessories for the Ryobi and the price, so it is between those two and this one and I would like to hear from you if you think it's a good deal? I think it's got a safety clutch, quite light at 2.6kg but not as powerful as the Dewalt. Cheap though with all the accessories? Which one
