Evening all and a merry Xmas.

Fitted an new dual channel hive today. However, whilst the heating can be controlled via the hive , the water would only operate the 2 port valve when the water tank thermostat was turned off. I am thinking the hive itself is not switching over to Water NO. Tested when switching it off at the receiver but it still has full voltage.

Thanks

Hi your hot water wire from hive hot water reciever goes to common of highlimit stat in tank and then should have pre wired links thru to the last terminal number 1 .this then returns to brown of zone valve and de energises motor when terminal 1 is satisfied.the hive I bet will be fine .can you check the stat to see if the wire is connected on to terminal 2
