Evening guys, I'm studying an EAL domestic installers course, I've got a few questions that i'm stuck on though, hoping you guys could point me in the right direction and help.

Q. When carrying out an insulation resistance test between live conductors of a socket outlet a short circuit is discovered.

Q1. Describe how you would perform a test to determine the location of the fault?

Q2. Describe the action taken to recify this fault?

Thanks for any help guys.

would i be right in putting that i'd use a wander lead, conect one end to the phase end of the radial at the ccu and then test for continuity at the middle socket and eliminate sockets that why until i find the short?
