does the house have to be earth bonded if the pipework is 90% plastic pipe the bathroom is still in copper but after it leaves the room it then goes to plastic the central heating is in copper for three rooms then goes to plastic for the rest of the house except for a meter from the boiler and there is no mains gas its on oil the mains water out of the floor is bonded with 16mm thanks aitch
 
yes supplementary bonding the mains water pipe is bonded to the consumer unit no there no supplementary bonding to any other pipe work
 
Have you got a problem at home? There are plenty of good electricians on here, why don't you post up your location and someone on here may be able to pop over and help you.
 
no there is no problem with the electrics and I am not asking for someone to look at it I just wanted to know if any other bonding was required
 
its a new rewire I want to do any earth bonding If it is needed before I get someone to do the test

Listen mate, you cannot know what needs bonding before first ascertaining what is extraneous and what is not. To do this tests need to be carried out. Is this work you have done yourself?
 
I was not aware that you knew me how do you know what I can do and what i cant do this started off as a simple question but you have managed to throw your dolls out of the pram do you think you are the only one who can do a rewire
