Hi guys,

Is there anyone thta can give me some assistance on the following:

I need to test a number of earth rods on site but im unsure on the cert to issue.

There isnt any local power rear by so i will be performing a steak test.

Speed is of the essence guys so your help will get me out of a situation.

Many Thanks in advance!!:):):)

I think this was under 713-11 of the 16th dunno about 17th I might just have a look in any case you will need a dedicated earth resistance tester ( had to do this on a farm a few years ago )

Bit late now, but the OP is asking which CERTIFICATE to issue, not how to test it.
If there is no power, why are there earth rods, and why are you testing them?
Is it lighting protection for fuel tanks or soemthing similar?

Unsure of what to suggest as to which cert I'm afraid. What do the lightning protection specialists use?
The nic do ones for fire alarms, emergency lighting etc, I wonder if they do one for earthing ?
I am working with a chap who used to work on RAF bases, I can ask tommorow if he remembers how he used to test them, I wouldnt be too sure of a satisfactory answer though:rolleyes:
