Well I'm just happy that we have our leccy back on. It went off last night at 7.pm, then didn't come back properly until 5pm today. We had a generator attached whilst they looked for a fault in the road; it seems there was some problem with the old cable and someone further up the road had damaged it when they were digging. So obviously, when you have no power, the first thing you crave is toast, want a shower, watch the tv, want to go online, need a brew etc........ :coffee: makes us all grateful for leccy though. (Until the kids ask if it was like this for us in the war!!!) :33:

I had toast with Camembert on it for lunch. It was magnificent. :smug2:

I would send them to their room, switch off the mcb and take away their mobiles. There you go kids, whats it like in WWII lol.

Dont put them on rations though, think there is a EU law against it
