ok i had this surge protector installed on my main breaker panel. for a few years. i had a house fire not related to any electrical issues the wifes car caught on fire. a 2016 chrysler 200.

anyway i had the Eaton CHSPT2ULTRA Surge Protector Type 2 SPD AC Power Protection i installed and in researching on ebay to get another for the electrician to install or for me after they leave i came across this one. EATON CHSPT2ULTRA Ultimate Surge Protection 3rd Edition. so what one is the better unit? i had the poser strips in places like the tv's and the pcs for years and i never have any issues with failure like you may see form surges. so to be a bit more secure on the house i installed the first unit. but the second unit says it is a surge trap. so they both do up to 108,00 amps so what might the difference be?

thanks
