2014 GMC Sierra 2500HD. TCM lost communication and CAN Bus and grounds were tested. TCM was required to be replaced but no longer manufactured by GM, so it was sent out for repair. While out for repair, and removed from the truck, I was chasing some other electrical issues in the cab when I released the ECM was no longer reporting. CAN bus now measures 120ohms and ABS module is reports loss of comm with ECM. Repaired TCM is about a week out.
Anyone know if this loss of comm with the ECM is because the TCM has been physically removed? Or, was there an underlying issue that moved down the line after the TCM was removed and is now affecting the ECM? Praying it's because the TCM is removed as the ECM does not have ETA for shipping.
