On an EIC what would you record as the origin of supply details if the sub board the circuit has been installed on is its self supplied from a sub board.

Long story but we have had some work done by a contractor who used a subby for the electrical install and he has but the local board that the circuit is feed from. Now I have always thought that it should be the supply intake. Am I correct?

This is just one of a few issues with the certificate and this is supposed to be a niceic approved contractor.

Yes you are correct. As you well know the origin of supply details are taken at the origin of the install and not a sub supply. Zdb and db pfc values belong on the schedule of test results.
Did they not have access to the origin ? I can well imagine that in a large commercial or industrial install (which I'm assuming this is) they wouldn't have access to isolate the entire install to test, but I'm sure you would have records of the relevant data had they asked.

Yeah I will be making a phone call on Monday. Thanks for confirming my thoughts, don't really do many EIC and mainly reactive maintenance. Last one was probably 5 years ago!! At least I can go back to them without making myself look a numpty.
