Is the Napit EICR Codebreakers book any use?

Got a few problems that another spark disagrees with,
All on one board
Plastic board not in an escape route or below stairs C3
No busbar cover on board C3
Spur for Storage heater has crack on fuse holder C3
No cover on inside bulkhead light C3
No RCD on any circuits at fuse board garage sockets could potentially be fed for outside use C2

Any advice welcome, will try upload some pics

Anyone?? Not sure on TT system
Ok guys sorry have another TT system, no RCD protection at board for any circuit usual lights, sockets, heater, fan
Now would an upfront 100mA be ok I’m not sure of calculation
And would you need a 30mA even if sockets won’t be used for outside use obviously C2 if they are

If the child has the motivation to enquire whats under the cover, then manages to find the right tool to remove that cons unit cover, then further investigates by removing the bus bar cover,he is probably on course for a apprenticeship
^^^ This. I'm sure most of us have similar stories.
My interest started around the age of 9, when I'd buy & 'smuggle' flex and Duraplug connectors into my bedroom to make extension leads, which I took into school and used on the overhead projectors in assembly. Long before the days of ISITEE... anyway mine were better than the broken pattress boxes stuck to a piece of skirting board that the Maths teacher had made

Indirect contact is an old term no longer used in BS7671. It means getting a shock from something which in normal circumstances would not be live like the casing of a Class I appliance. The other term is direct contact which is obvious.

Don’t no why they felt the need to change it personally

It was to harmonise. So protection against direct contact is basic protection and protection against indirect contact is fault protection.

I'm still annoyed they chose to rename phase conductors line conductors though!
