Hi, I am due EICR test on my property which has 20 year old wiring. Last test on 2018 was fine with no issues. Just need to check if my consumer unit will need replacement for EICR pass or it will be ok. Attaching pictures.

TL;DR
Eicr test consumer

An EICR outcome is either Satisfactory, or Unsatisfactory (not pass/fail).

Looking at the hole in the middle, I'm not sure it should have been satisfactory in 2018.

There will no doubt be observations about the lack of RCD protection for some circuits, as to whether these are C2 or C3 depends. Then there is the question of it being plastic, so it is in or under a sole means of escape such as under the stairs. You also haven't shown the case fully and the surroundings, such as any holes in the cover too large, the state of the meter tails etc.

A lot depends on whether whoever did the last EICR missed anything. Otherwise, if nothing has deteriorated in the meantime, it will attract a few C3s plus a C1 for the missing blank in the front, although that is easily fixed.
Note that C3s are "improvement recommended" and don't usually result in an unsatisfactory EICR.

Thanks for your feedback. I covered hole with blanks. I needed to cut blank as it appears the size of hole is 1.75 blank so two blanks can't fit. May be that's the reason it was not failed in 2018. I have showed pictures and can't see any other hole on sides and above. Where cables are it seems properly cut. The consumer stair is garage conversion in its own dedicated full cabinet. Stairs are far away. So in summary it will not be c2/c1 by plastic consumer unit through its old but could be due to RCD protection on some circuits. Is that correct? I attached pictures

Nothing wrong with asking, but there is a degree of judgement involved with EICR's. Whatever categories (C1, C2 etc) are suggested here may be different to those given by your electrician.
