Just your thinking on this… Doing Remedials on a EICR … the DB is a old Wylex with MCB”S/RCD
Its a 10 way… rammed packed with cabling,,,the Neutral/Earth connections are a nightmare to get at.
The IR measurements are not good coming in around 0.154 MOhms.
I'm hesitant in actually disconnecting all conductors & individually testing them.
Could recommend a new DB & start from scratch…or do it the hard way…anyone?

May be worth disconnecting at the MCB and trying to trace which line paired with each neutral (I am thinking with twin an earth) you may be able to see the line go back into the outer insulation and try see where the neutral is terminated in the neutral bar.

I can understand your hesitation if the board is like Spaghetti Junction though, I can be really time consuming taking conductors out to individually test each circuit when they are jam packed into the board.

If you did take a few of the pairs out of the MCB, Neutral Earth bar, you may be able to put them back neater, so that the remaining ones are easier to test without having as much of a struggle trying to identify which cables are for each circuit?

With readings like that you most likely have an appliance still plugged in.Or there is a fixed appliance still in circuit . Its very difficult nowadays when carrying out EICR,s to have 100% of the circuits"clean".Invariably our low IR readings gradually improve as we isolate the "offending" appliance.Does cost an awful lot of time though.
