So its OK to snip the meter seals to fit them?

Thanks guys for all your replies, my bad they were 10mm after i checked,
I'm still pretty new to doing ECIR's so don't be to hard on me, iv yet to come across tails that small in my journeys.
the installation has already failed on numerous faults,
sorry i should of said unsatisfactory.An EICR is satisfactory or unsatisfactory - there is no pass or fail!
Can you give us some examples?
C1'S then. = unsatisfactory.(2)as well. code 3 is not.sorry i should of said unsatisfactory.
there is no bonding to the gas
there is non ip rated light within zone 2
same light is also broken with access to live parts,
No blanks within CCU,
there is numerous C3's
