Hi All,

Just writing up an EICR I did today, got a long garden with SWA feeding shed at bottom, armoured not earthed (code 2) but I also noticed for part of it's run, near the veg patch, the SWA is lying across the ground. It doesn't meet 522.8.10 so I'm guessing code 2 and a recommendation that either I drag it out and cleat to fence or I get my spade out again.

Anyone got any thoughts on a code?

Which one? To my mind the lack of earthing is a 2 because if someone sticks a spade through it the armoured is not earthed and the cable sitting above the surface is possibly a 2 because of the likelihood that you could stick a spade through it and that it doesn't meet 522.8.10 which says it should be buried at sufficient depth to avoid being damaged, although it doesn't mention laying across the top.

Southern comfort what a film. lol

Dave although I agree that southern comfort is a fantastic film, I thought dueling Banjo's was from the the other classic Deliverance
