About to install an electric bidet onto a toilet. Instructions call for plugging it into a fused spur on an RCD. The cistern is boxed and I was thinking of feeding the cable through a hole in the wall within the box which feeds into the kitchen. Can I therefore just plug it into the normal socket which is behind the fridge, in the kitchen? It's technically outside the bathroom so doesn't fall foul of the zone rules. What do you think?

Great, so the requirement for a fused spur is only necessary if the device is being plugged in within the confines of the bathroom itself? Bidet proximity to sink and shower/bath are then no longer a concern (within normal and careful use of course)?
