Hi ,

I have been tasked with putting 4 , 2kw panel heaters in a portacabin .

I plan on wiring four 16a radials to each circuit ( fused spur at each heater). These will be controlled by a 24/7 time clock. Back at the CU.

My question is to do with the contactors .

I was planning on feeding the time clock with a control circuit which will switch the contactor coil .

Am I able to use a 4 pole contactor to switch the lives only , or do I need an individual contactor for each circuit.

And also if I can use a 4 pole , is it normally rated per pole , or do I need to get say a 40a .

Thanks in advance
