You can probably tell, I know nothing, so reply as if talking to a five year old (sweets and pats on head excluded).
I have two heaters from what I can make out. Downstairs a wall mounted non storage heater in our utility room. Upstairs a more conventional electric water boiler with old fashioned orange foam insulation.
I recently had to cut off the water supply to the house whilst fixing a corroded radiator feed. I switched off the electric switch on the upstairs boiler prior to doing so but once everything had been fixed, I tried to switch this back on but the light on the switch stays off.
I have some hot water from our downstairs unit, but this is not as before where we had copious amounts of hot water.
Is it likely that I have somehow tripped something internal with the boiler (Big thing covered in orange foam).
