Trying to get an ball park idea on costs to get 2 double sockets and a light in the garage. Blackpool Area.
New consumer unit fitted in 2014 that has spare ways.
At a guess route for cable would be from consumer unit up to loft (4m) across loft to rear (10m) then to armoured? Down outside of building (4m Bungalow) then buried under grass (1 flag at house and the concrete base of garage) to garage (8m) then up to suitable garage consumer unit and on to 2 double sockets and a florescent light. Plus all appropriate testing and paperwork.

OK I fully understand if it's too difficult to guess at a figure or people don't want to post on forum. You can always PM me.

Thanks for any help, just trying to work out if I can afford it as don't want to waste electricians time coming and formally quoting.

Thanks

Plenty around who will do jobs, usually to a terrible standard, for peanuts. A lot of customers just want the cheapest job possible regardless of the standard of work.

Part P scams, checkatrade, trustatrader etc etc all need looking at imo as there are so many out there doing frankly dangerous work - and also taking work from proper sparks.
