ladder!

You should be using a podium tower. Ladders are for access not working platforms!

I keep saying that to my manager when I need to work on one of my D/B's ( which are mostly just above head height).
"Can you get someone to go and get me a podium tower so I can change this fuse :))) lol
 
Happy days standing on top of the cage all the way down to the shaft bottom checking the cables and brackets etc...............

Now I'm not allowed on the 1st rung of a ladder without hardhat/safety harness/specs/safety boots/2 sentries and the whole area cordoned off !!!
lol

I was a quarry man. The sure fire way of getting rid of the boss was to tell him I was working on the skip hoists. I conned him once to climb on top with me while I was testing the top limits. Never came near me again.
