50 years in the trade and have never seen a domestic wiring diagram.
That what I said in post 10 ☺ thought it was just me , not quite been in the trade 50 years yet though. Not done many domestic but the only drawing i have work to is where to put the accessories in the kitchen , think the rest is common sense as for a wiring diagram, if you need one for wiring a house, you should not be wiring a house.

Architects (and householders) sometimes produce a 'line' diagram (which is what the OP is probably after) but which may not bear any resemblance to a proper wiring diagram, or an 'as installed' installation.
Something the OP could easily do himself by getting a blank plan and using symbols from OSG with coloured crayons!

I pinched that joke from Graham Norton, can't claim it as my own!
Anyone who fancies pinching Graham Norton can stay away from me.
Must admit' though, even he might have a giggle reading all this thread of carp..... or should that be a wiggle?

Oh, ok! I actually like this thread now!
More than 1 of you have stated the bleedin' obvious...there is no such thing as a wiring digram for a 3 bed bungalow...or a 2 bed flat, or a 7 bed detached house...yes, there may be suggestions as to what is the minimum requirement for each type of house, but there is so much more to it than that.
Wiring by numbers?
I don't think so!
You need to know what the client wants, then design it.
If you think there's a blueprint, should you be doing it at all?

i jsut wanted to be sure and im a competence domestic installer this what i have is showing on my id and also i have 4 weeks on mach to finish my qualification 17th but im aloso self-employed builder and i would like to do this work if your interested to do thats how much
I think you need a course on punctuation first - I couldn't repeat that lot in one breath - let alone understand it ! What does 'mach' mean? (speed if sound?). You need to qualify on the 18th edition now!
What does 'would like to do this work if your interested to do thats how much' mean ??
When you are writing, try to stick to short individual sentences.
hi.yes this what im going to im very good on electrical work just need bit help and i dont mine paying someone to do proper drowning wiring diagrams thanks for ur
reply
How do you know you're 'very good on electrical work' ? - and what's a 'proper drowning wiring diagram' ?

As said previously, there's no such thing as a standard wiring diagram for a house - first you consult the customer on what they want and where. For the average bungalow you probably want 1 or 2 RFCs for power, 1 circuit for lights, one cooker radial, plus extras for such as a boiler, a water heater, a shower, alarm system etc.
When you've worked that out you could draw a line diagram, just to remind you of what you have to do. As diagrams go, that's it.

Are you Part P registered for self certification of electrical work?

"Jack of all trades, master of none" ?
