Very helpful article. I read it only recently, then immediately forgot about it's existence. Thanks for the reminder. I've now saved it as a PDF in my "electrical info" folder on my phone.

Working out the age of an installation used to be a job for Sherlock Holmes, or Doctor Who.
This article has put them both out of a job.
