I found plenty ov those movies! but not what i was looking for. Got one from a mate in the end. tried all my local suppliers and not one had a warning notice or any mcb lockouts!

Must admit i have a notice, just not the lock off's.

I disconnect the cables from the MCB & neutral bar.

now i had this same idea wen i was told how much a lockin off kit was. its a simple and effective solution but would this be axeptable in an assesment for registering with a part p body? ? i wonder if theyd go for it..

Its not really a requirement.

However, i would seriously question an assessor if he criticised this method.

I mean, you couldnt get it any safer!

It may not be a requirement but if an accident happens and HSE are involved and you can not prove youu have done a safe isolation well, what can I say.
