Hi,

i am thinking of starting an electrician course.I am not sure which one would be the best for me.
any help would be apprecianed.

If you wAnt to be a domestic installer, then that's all you can do, domestic stuff. Dusty. Hard work. If you want no limits to where or what you can do, full electrical course! Be aware, it takes years of work, but what you can achieve is 100x what a domestic install can ever dream of.

a bit melodramatic, but you're right. domestic has it's place but the industrial game's where it's at - for me. i've been doing a bit of domestic on my own just recently and it's a pain in the @rse. can't wait for this recession to bog off.

Apprenticships are Good if you can live on the low wages and can find someone to take you on. Round here there seems to be more chance of finding rocking horse s**t. Thats why i've gone the domestic route. Hopefully The recession will "bog off" as Shagbite said and things will change.
