Do I start 2365 Level 3 and start on £9-10ph and do an Nvq in 12 months time or do I start an Apprenticeship and will take 3-4 years but struggle to pay for my car.

Bit worried that in the future people might not take me on because I haven't completed an Apprenticeship

I dont know why you want to do 2365 Level 3

you have done
EAL Level 3 Certificate in Installing, Testing and Ensuring Compliance of Electrical Installations in Dwellings (600/7695/1)

What from I can marry up to is on par with 2397 .. make sure you have your 17th Edition
Talk to one of the Governing bodies, what you can do with your qualificaion and time on the job.

Napit
CURRENT LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE
This is suitable for electrical work in dwellings. These qualifications also cover wiring regulations and initial verification so youwill not need an additional qualification from lists 7 or 8.

Experience: with this qualification you can register for Full Scope for Dwellings Only without any experience criteria.

E201 Level 3 Certificate in Installing, Testing and Ensuring Complianceof Electrical Installations in Dwellings (QCF)C&G 2397‐30 600/7888/1 or EAL 600/7695/1

im sure you know all this but there is a BRIDGE unit from 2365 to 2357
mainly doing the onsite stuff and an Extra unit

Debate on courses

End Joury is the 2357 Am2 this will get you a ECS and all that
So can do your Apprent what puts you ont eh 2357 and AM2
or do the 2365, then a bridge unit/onsite stuff and then the AM2

The 2365 is kind of part time and look on 2357 as the same but onsite training, hands on is dam good

If your getting £9-10/hr then keep on that
and do 2365 in the evenings
and then the 17th Edition
then simple doing the Full NVQ3 2357 with a Bridge unit
and not forgetting the AM2

This brings you up to what the APPRENTs are doing

very smart way of jumping a year by doing your EAL

I did think tho that the 2357 (if you are working with someone already) was a day release

but NEED to PICK soon as the COLLEGE year is starting SOON

I have to do a minimum of 3 years, spoken to Jtl (training provider). The 2365 Level 2 won't carry on to the EAL training they provide. So I have to start the Apprenticeship from beginning. So minimum of two years.

Just worried because people are funny about people not doing an Apprenticeship

wait, they want to train you on the EAL qualification? Jtl go for city and guilds because im literally in the same position as you...i have my level 2 been working as a mate,, but going to start apprenticeship for like 2 years to get nvq and level 3. Jtl said i could continue on from my 2365 and do the level 3.
