I’ve just had a quick read through as a non member, and I haven’t seen any glaringly obvious stupid advice….. yet.

In fact, the first one I read was about running a circuit for a caravan hook up on a farm, and the advice was generally ok…. As much as “this is beyond you, phone an electrician”

Anyone? Just wanted you make a link back to the forum you need more than 30 posts to link out and I'm not prepared to do it from scratch proper waste of time.

There's a lot of infighting on there as well and some aggression toward people posting questions. Most of the older members on Talk Forum are from there as they got fed up with it but that is only marginally better.

I actually got banned from talk forum just because I didn't respond to a message asking me if I was DIY or electrician or something along that lines .tried to get in touch with administrator to confirm but you can't cos your banned .I didn't even post or contribute to 1 thread .bizzare

Seems harsh.

May have been auto erased you know if you didn't approve the email in time or even post a post quick enough. Both options available.

Sometimes to keep user data fresh but sometimes if they're on shared hosting and are finding their bills go up the more they email etc

I'm almost certain that's what it was.it was a temporary ban ,I did try my best to get in touch but website won't let you go any further to do anything.not that I'm worried .
