For the record mate, its The Electricity at Work Act 1989. Its an act because it was passed by Parliament. Its little things like getting wording wrong that fails exams mate; if indeed you are still at school. Good Luck.

Are you positive its 'Act' as opposed to 'regulations'. Only reason I ask is just did 2391 and wrote Regulations...so probibly waved goodby to a couple of points there!

Nope still an utterly rediculous post on my part mate, Spinlondon and Richard are correct in stating that it is the EAWR 89. However it was still an act passed by Parliament.
