On the nail mate, not really just a stab at asking if anyone had a local tool shop that still sold lucas stuf, I did try all the known outlets !tool station" "screw fix" etc no joy

thing is, back then they were everyone's go to, but now we have so much choice, CK,Knipex,NWS, Bahco, all VDE

I've still got a pair of Elliot Lucas side cutters that I've had for over 40 years !

i have a pair of elliot lucas calipers with a WD arrow on from WW2. they were my dad's when he was patching up shot up Lancasters etc.
