I can remember one project site with a Korean contractor, where they used cable drums for out-door tables in their recreational area, but they made a far better job of them than that shown here!! Unless you knew what they were made from, you'd never guess they were cable drums!!

Hi found this for old pallets http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Shabby-Chic-Union-Jack-Pallet-coffee-table-Industrial-Rustic-UJ-with-Castors/350798662165?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D15685%26meid%3D7775926379582493478%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D7496%26rk%3D2%26sd%3D261215425335%26 I must be sitting on a small fortune. :)

didnt you used to get cash back on re-usable drums years ago like pop bottles ?
:)

the big drums made from wood that are about 8 feet wide and 1 1/2 tons each have a deposit on them of about ÂŁ500 but the guy that takes them away from the big sites mostly gets that as a perk, as they don't crack a light about it to the construction companies, they just slip in and take them away.....nobody ask nobody tell....

smaller ones nobody wants them and they end up in the skip or some student flat somewhere...

somebody somewhere will sell a load of these and make a fortune for old tat, probably someone who's already loaded and pays a couple of labourers to do them and somebody else to load them up onto ebay...while they sit back...
