Sorry if this has already been talked about couldn’t find it on forum.
As you probably know by know the MCS are saying that all houses need to have an energy performance certificate at least a “D” rating I believe to qualify for the FiT I also believe this come’s into play in April.
I looked into doing the course to issue the certs but it seems pretty expensive compared to about £70 it would cost you to get one…. My question is two parts and would love to hear what the rest of you plan to do.

- Are you going to fork out the dosh to go on the course yourself or send a member of staff on the course.
- If the house fails to comply with a “D” rating will you do the work yourself to bring it “up to standards” or will you pay another company to do it for you (either skimming some off the top for yourself or just charging client the costs and making money on the PV job as you have been up to now)
