Didn't know much about honeywell, but didn't know they had decent stuff. When i have a computer that is not booted into CAINE recovering my photos, i shall have a look at it.

So the galaxy system is made by honeywell...

I find customers like the iOn16 because it also looks smart and neat in the home. The programming is easy enough, I always hardwire the bell box, and you need at least one hardwired RKP. All other accessories are wireless, I don't like the look of the wireless bell boxes they look naff, and I can't get me logo on them.

Hi,

hopefully you guys will be able to help me.

Ive just attempted to install a ESP Infinite prime wireless alarm that a friend supplied and when it comes to the programming im having Problems,

I followed the installation guide word for word apart from the devices are already fitted in there locations in a small house. the accessorries she has are;

INF-MAG door contact
3 INF-PIR's
INF-WES

According to the 'Easy installation and programming manual' all was going well. I powered up the alarm charged the battery, then programmed the door contact, the door contact is saved in zone 1.

then.. following the in the same manual when trying to program the PIR's all was well untill it displayed Register Transmit1 on the screen then after been prompted to insert the battery the screen then displayed transmit 2. however according to the instuction manual it was supposed to display, zone2 regester - Save. it didnt i bypassed this step and carried on with the points in the manual but neither of the 3 sensors saved.

all im left with now is a Screen with a tamper fault that i have been unsuccessful in removing.

There is no money involved in this job purely a favour for a friend and self learning that isnt going well!

Hope somebody understand what im saying and thanks in advance

you should find theit tech. helpline phone no. in the installation instructions. i don't know the esp gear, but if i get problems with the risco gear i use, i find the tech.help excellent.

yeah thanks did find the number was gonna try that wen i next go, it only open monday to friday. I thought wireless alarms were supposed to be simple!

when you find what you've missed, it will be simple. with the ones i use, you have to fit battery then press the tamper switch on the detector to get the panel to recognise it.
