I'm estimating a decent sized project and it would be great to hear what a few others think. I'll give you an idea of the project. It's servicing about 10,000 or so emergency lights in 15 buildings on one site. Servicing includes, louvre cleaning, lamp, battery, and as required inverter and starter replacement. The duration of the project is 12 months.
The tender must be broken down in to the following schedules of costs:
1) Materials & warranty costs,
2) Install costs (unit times),
3) Other costs e.g. consumables, plant/equipment etc.
4) Hourly rates (time, time 1/2, double and baskets of additional hours e.g. 40hrs at hourly rate, 60hrs at hourly rate)
5) Supervisors rates
6) Health and safety management costs for the duration of project.
7) Project Manager Costs for the duration of project.
What I'm most unsure about are the Health safety costs and Project managers costs.
