Good Afternoon All

I have quoted for the installation of an EV Charger that is located in an underground car park. I don't install many however when I have done before I have installed the Zappi Chargers. I am wondering whether they need an internet connection to both set up and use. The reason being is the underground car park has no internet or mobile phone signal and no possibility for a wired internet connection.

Are these still usable? If not are there any on the market that can do this (7kW)

Thanks

Interesting question. The regulations for EV charging points now require that the equipment used is "smart", in other words, internet connected. What about the use of powerline internet adaptors which use the mains wiring?

The underground car park is part of a complex of flats and the chargers are installed via the landlord consumer unit. Would be installed with a kWh meter for the site to sub charge the leaseholders
