EVERSOLER TL 4000? advise

Ok lads been running around country trying to source gear! picked up eversoler4000tl?
not opened box yet but is it a SMA but diff colour? I avoid 4000TL due to earthing the array with sma but presume im gonna have to get me green and yellow on this array.

Eversolar inverters are Chinese and transformer-less, that should be teh bad bit. I have one in my own home, I think that's the good bit. We've used them quite often and like them.

fab! so 1 what remote display o u use for it? 2 do u earth array ?

Although you can get an eversolar display I use the geo solar now. You do have to earth the array.

thanks for that! i asked company i got it from ie what do your fitters do with the TL range (told no need to earth)? found a remote display in the box

Used plenty of Eversolar TL's, Never had a problem and actually prefer them to SMA now after a couple of SMA issues.

Tried a Chint the other day (wont be doing that again).

First Fronius on Sunday, anything to watch out for / tips?

One good thing to come out of all this is we've ended up using stuff I wouldn't normally have bothered with and found out some of it is actually very good.
