Evolution Rage Mitre Saw

not enough time to build up the heat.

i have one too, excellent for unistrut & trunking - like Tel say's, not enough time for it to heat up. might be a different matter when the blade starts to get worn!

Got an Evolution circular saw ! wicked on worktops and even goes through wood laced with nails !

Firstly why would that bother you?

secondly who touches a blade after they cut something?

but to answer you question, the blade is coated so the heat doesnt transfere to the metal as quickly, so once the coating is gone you will be able to burn your fingers as much as you would like. :)
