Hi all,

Whats your preferred and neatest way of extending cables to a CU which needs moving. Suppliers are coming in soon to move supply cable and meter ect.

Cheers.

Do you have to use a screwdriver to insert cable or can you just push them in on the din rail connectors

If it's modern single strand or thick strand stuff, then it should just push in. However, I found it easier to lever the clamp open which is what I had to do anyway with the old imperial fine stranded cable.

very nice handy sparks just the way i prefer to do it [ElectriciansForums.net] Extending cables for CU think yours is neater mind
