Hi
Could some one help. You come across a CU relacement job and you realise cables are too short. What would you do to extend the cables? I could think of 2 options:
1. cutting the wall to expose the cables and move the CU
2. Using crimp connectors to extend conductors.
Is there a profi system out there? Someone was talking about a rail connector system???

thank you

My preference would be to raise the CU if possible.
