Hello
I need to change a consumer unit and move it slightly. This will mean extending about 10 circuits. I think than 10 32Amp JBs will look a bit unsightly. Is there a better way?

i just twist the core together and stick it all together with that sellotape stuff and poke it under the floor...!! where am i going wrong..!

i got a sat morning CU to change out an move to other side of wall....! also got to shift the DNO Cut out BOARD as well by 6 inches (with there permission of course) and re secure..! got plenty of slack cable so they said not a problem!

Red Blue Yellow through crimps up to 6mm above that just plain through crimps with heat shrink and 6k self amalgamating tape , but through crimping i always use ratchet crimps to ensure the connection is sound and secure

So you crimp the conductors together using through crimps. If it's an insulated through crimp do you still use self amalgamating tape for that single conductor. If in trunking would you tape the Neutral Earth and Live conductor together with self amalgamating tape or heat shrink as well? or just leave it at that?
