So in that case then does 'every cable above 50V need a CPC throughout its length regardless of what it is feeding (class I or II) ?

I would have said so

What if the protective measure is Double or reinforced insulation for example?

The regs say ADS is the most commonly used protective measure, but its not the only way its done.

Chapter 41 is what I have been reading. I am sure someone will make things clearer with their experiance on this subject.

I'd heard Manchester needed a bit of cosmopolitan style, the type of class only a Geordie could bring to the table so I thought I'd pop down, ye knaa

class and geordie is a contradiction in terms. a bit like american intelligence.

Whereabouts in manchester are you archy? I'm currently at birch services travelodge but working at trafford park again tomorrow.

M21.

WTF are you doing at Birch, I take it the closer ones are full?

I usually stay at Travelodge Trafford pk for about £36 but they wanted £95 when I tried to book up yesterday.... Didn't realise the match was on! I usually stay at birch when I'm working at Heywood so I just booked in here again
