Could people give me an idea of how much for (labour and materials) new fuseboard (9rcbo's) and earthing of water main 20m run, 2 new rings in kitchen max 20m run 4 single outlets, new cooker circuit (gas hob), 4m run of trunking in garage and the running of remaing cables easy (plasterer to make good the cable runs from end of trunking onwards. Kent location and free parking. Any cheaper with dual board? And on the presumption there is no fault found on the existing 6 ciruits. Plus obviously certification.

Roughly speaking. I have had an estimte and I think it's a bit on the high side. Gas is earthed in 10mm 600mm from meter, mid 80's construction property, no periodic info on exisiting fuse board...

I live in stoke poges and as a guide i charge £350 for a 10 way dual rcd consumer unit.that includes certificate and reporting job to elecsa.If the earthing is easy i charge £50 but if its a 20m run it would be a bit more depending on estimated time and ease of access.As for the ring main I charge £50 per point and your gas hob can go into a socket or spur on ring.Plus i add a bit on for going for materials and if its quite far away i'll add a bit in for diesel.If your going for a board with separate rcbo's your looking at £380/£400 just for materials so possibly £600/£650 installed.

They look a bit on the cheap side.

If I were you I'd leave the sourcing and supply to the sparky you get to do the business.
