fault HELP NEEDED

every time I turn on the ring main, mcb the rcd trips i've crossed over line and neutral at cu and tested each socket reading between 0.5 and 1.5 ohms. please help

Check conductors end to end. Very possible there is no continuity on phase or neutral.

just checked end to end netural was 0.5 ohms phase was 54 ohms

bad connection on line. probably in a socket or JB. that will cause the inbalance methinks.

Thats not gonna trip the RCD though......

wouldn't have thought, but there could be arcing
