Brilliant, and W. Axl Rose unquestionably has a unique voice which cannot be imitated. Without doubt I consider him to be the greatest singer of all time.

Listening to Its No Good by Depeche Mode on the Sonos.......

I have lots of albums that I like, Bowies, Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps) is in the top 10, Marc Almond, New Order, Japan, Moby, The Cure, Faithless, Placebo, Fun Loving Criminals, The Verve,

jeeeez I have loads to be honest.

Paul Wellers, Broken Stones is a beautiful track.

Oasis where one of those bands that I though where meh, but a mate of mine who did the press for the Jools Holland show years back got me on to the guest list for the Oasis special at the BBC Studio 1 (staggering distance to home is always a bonus) and to be honest they blew me away played about 15 tracks and as I think Be Here Now was just released most of the tracks where from Morning Glory, at the after show it was fun partying with Kate Moss and the boys, God knows how I got home....... but I do respect them as a band.

Paul Weller has done a lot of thought provoking stuff but an album track called A Man of Great Promise written about his best mate who died from an overdose is in my top five of Weller tracks.

I'm with Westy, anything Paul Weller, for me he is up their with the greats, scrap that he is one of the greats.
That's entertainment is one of my favourite songs of all time.
He did a fantastic version with Noel Gallagher, I'll see if I can find it.

That's Entertainment was not produced by Polydor the Jams record company. They apparently owed money to a German record company and he knocked it up in a caravan after a gig with all proceeds going to said record company.
