FCU from ring

Hi, Is this correct? You should put the FCU into the ring main, (so extend the ring in other words) or is it still okay to take a spur from a socket in the ring to the FCU, and then feed something else? Get my meaning? I was always told to put the FCU into the ring and then spur from that. What do you guys say? Cheers.

you can spur to the |FCU as it's fused@ 13A. spur should not be of excessive length, though.

Cheers for that, I thought it might be a bit of a grey area, Where some are saying incorporate it into the ring and others saying what you've just said.

As Eng said what do you need a diagram for? Thats one the more basic and easy to understand regs.
