Hi, Is this correct? You should put the FCU into the ring main, (so extend the ring in other words) or is it still okay to take a spur from a socket in the ring to the FCU, and then feed something else? Get my meaning? I was always told to put the FCU into the ring and then spur from that. What do you guys say? Cheers.

Get your Regs book out and look at Appendix 15,

Outside socket… ok. But you say the fcu for boiler is beside the outside socket… is the boiler outside too? FCU’s have an IN and an OUT… the OUT...
