Supply for TV in my bedroom, I extended ring into the attic and my plan was to have socket and TV outlet behind the TV, when the TV came it is one of them slim LED ones that hang to the wall sort like a picture, there’s no way you can have socket and plug top behind it as it hangs so close to the wall, so plan b, FCU in the attic with supply direct to the telly.
All solid walls, with outlets being so high it was just a case drilling down to the box I cut out no raggling involved (apart from 1 gang box). Personally I don’t see any problems with this regarding the regs,

Daughter getting TV for Christmas so plan the same in her room, any thoughts as to why this set up would not be acceptable.
Left length in attic so in the future can pull cables down and fit socket.

I've got a whole dedicated radial running through my loft for bits of 'through the ceiling' bedroom tat and TV boosters etc. Isolation is by the 16A MCB in the board. It also means I get to decide when the kids turn their tellies off at night!!
