Feed back problem

M

Megavolt

Hi all

I have a boiler plant that has a heating and hot water circuit. The problem I have is there is not any zone valves on this system which I would normally use to stop any back feeds.

So the system uses two pumps one for hot water and one for heating.

There is a two Chanel time clock. The hot water output goes via a cylinder stat to the hot water pump and boiler the heating output goes via a room stat to the heating pump and boiler.

I think this can be done with a relay but I do not know how.

Hope I have supplied enough info

Cheers

Two relays needed. One driven by the output of the roomstat, other driven by output of cyl stat. The relay contacts switch permanent live to the boiler.
