Lifting floorboards for socket

Hey guys.

I know how to spur a socket etc. However never done one in a house.

I want to put a new socket in my room.

How do I go about lifting the floor boards etc? Would I just pick 1 or 2 and feed the wires through? But I may need to make the holes in all the joists ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You may need to lift a couple of boards up to see what the best route is.

Don’t forget to consider any room the other side of the wall. Sometimes it is easier to go through the wall to the other side, especially if you end up in a garage or a cupboard etc.
